How to Make your Bathroom Appear Larger

How to Make your Bathroom Appear Larger

Do you have a small space to work with for your new bathroom? No worries, we have some great tips to make your small bathroom appear larger. Here goes,

Tile Tricks

Visual tricks can create the illusion of more space, here's our top tips for tiles; Use light coloured large rectangular tiles with minimal contrasting grout lines and tile all the way to the ceiling as it will create a sense of scale. Lay the tiles horizontally and it will elongate the room and on the flip side, tiles laid vertically with appear to raise the ceiling height.

Natural Light

We love natural light and all of the benefits it has not only for the soul, but for the illusion of more space in your small bathroom. If you have light shiny wall tiles and a mirror in your space, the natural light will bounce around the room and give the illusion of more space.

Wall Hung Vanity

Wall hung vanities look like they are floating from the wall, the open space beneath the vanity gives the illusion of more space in your bathroom.

Concealed Toilets

Behind the wall toilets have the cistern hidden in the wall, which in turn creates more space in your room. Concealed toilets are available in rimless options ans have really lovely wall flush buttons to compliment.

Frameless Shower Screen

There's no bigger mistake than cutting your room in half with a big chunky shower screen. We always suggest a frameless shower screen to ensure the room remains open and bright.
