Quick installation tips
- Before installation, make sure that the Nexus home gateway is within range of your home wireless router (Wi-Fi) and that the signal is strong
- The gateway requires line of sight to your Infrared devices, so this is best mounted on your ceiling or wall for optimal range
- Alternatively, can be placed on top of a shelf or entertainment unit as long as there is an uninterrupted line of sight to your Infrared devices
- Purchase a ceiling mount bracket that can go into an existing downlight cutout in your ceiling
- If installing into the ceiling cutout, a licensed electrician must install this as the Nexus requires its own power supply
