These types of spouts are perfect for bath, kitchen, and laundry applications. With the ability to swivel the spout of the way, you won't need to worry about hitting it while taking a bath, or washing the dishes or clothes. The best spouts for kitchen and laundry applications are upswept, where the arm goes up and comes back down. This allows for more movement in the tub.

Most commonly used in kitchen and laundry applications, as the gooseneck spout allows for more movement underneath the spout For a Hamptons style look, look for a Shepherds Crook outlet, as the design of this spout will suit a Hamptons or traditional style home.
This style of outlet creates a waterfall feature into the bathtub when running the water making for an extremely luxe look.
These are spouts that are made for baths, they do not require a flow restrictor as this helps the bath fill up faster. Swivel bath spouts, waterfall bath spouts, freestanding bath spouts and floor mounted bath spouts are the most popular types for baths.

Kitchen and laundry spouts are generally upswept spouts or gooseneck as this allows for more movement underneath the faucet for washing clothes, dishes, or food.
Always measure the distance between the wall and the basin/bath to ensure you get the right spout as you want to have the right amount of room to wash your hands, but not too much room that water is splashing everywhere.
Spouts can also come attached to a backplate with a mixer if you don't want a separate mixer component.
If you are wanting a spout for a shower/bath application, don't forget that the mixer you choose needs to be a diverter mixer to allow you to switch between the spout and shower.
