Turner Hastings Claremont Collection

The Turner Hastings Claremont range is a classic, heritage-inspired bathroom collection spanning basins, stone baths, toilet suites and concealed toilet buttons. It suits renovations aiming for a traditional or period-style look, where rounded profiles and softer detailing replace the sharper lines of contemporary bathroomware.

What the Claremont range covers

Claremont is a broad range built around a classic aesthetic, and it spans several product categories rather than one. Within the collection you will find bathroom basins in various mounting styles, stone baths for a heritage-look centrepiece, toilet suites, and concealed toilet buttons designed to pair with in-wall cisterns for a cleaner finish around the toilet itself.

Basins in the Claremont range

Claremont basins typically feature the rounded, traditional bowl shapes associated with classic bathroom design, and are available in different mounting styles to suit either an inset vanity or a freestanding pedestal-style setup. Choosing the right mounting style depends on the vanity or benchtop you are pairing it with, so check compatibility before ordering.

Stone baths

The stone bath options within Claremont bring a solid, substantial feel to a bathroom and work well as a visual centrepiece in a heritage or classic-style renovation. Stone baths are heavier than acrylic alternatives, so it is worth confirming floor loading and access for installation, particularly in upper-storey bathrooms or where the bath needs to be carried through tight doorways.

Toilets and concealed cistern buttons

Claremont toilet suites carry the same classic design language as the rest of the range, and the concealed toilet buttons are designed for use with an in-wall cistern rather than a standard close-coupled unit, giving a streamlined look around the toilet with the cistern hidden inside the wall. If you already have an in-wall cistern installed or planned, checking that the button matches the cistern brand and mechanism is an important step before purchase.

Planning a bathroom around Claremont

• Decide early whether you want an inset or freestanding-style basin, as this affects the vanity you choose
• Confirm floor and access requirements before committing to a stone bath
• Check cistern compatibility before ordering a concealed toilet button
• Keep tapware and accessories in a complementary style to reinforce the classic look

Why choose a coordinated range like Claremont

Renovating with pieces from a single, coordinated range like Claremont makes it easier to achieve a consistent look across the basin, bath and toilet, since the design details, curves and proportions are developed together rather than mixed from different collections. This matters particularly in classic and heritage-style bathrooms, where small inconsistencies in shape or detailing are more noticeable than in minimalist designs.
