View full detailsThese toilet suites are perfect for odd plumbing configurations that can often be found in older homes, or if you are looking for a cheap replacement toilet. There is a visible pipe going between the cistern and the pan, which is often covered by a connector piece to give it a “close coupled” look. Although its popularity has somewhat diminished, you can still get a plastic cistern with a vitreous china pan to really save some money on your bathroom renovation.
When choosing a connector toilet look out for the below technical options:
Waste Trap Type
Most are available in an S trap or P trap configuration, allowing you to choose from a range of quality designs that have been engineered for Australian standards and designed for any bathroom renovation.
Water Inlet Type
Most are available with a bottom inlet as that is the most common installation for these toilets. Bottom Inlet (BI) enters into the bottom of the cistern usually via a flexible hose or moulded copper pipe, where a Back Entry (BE) inlet is hidden at the top rear of the cistern.
