The Caroma Contura II Matte Black Bathroom Package is a complete 15-piece bathroom centred on a sculpted 1700mm freestanding bath.

About the range

Contura II is Caroma's most sculptural range. Every piece is built on soft curves and rounded, organic forms. Here the bath and basin are matte white rather than gloss, which gives them a velvety, stone-like surface. Against that softness, matte black tapware draws a clean, confident outline, turning each mixer and rail into a graphic detail on the wall.

This package suits a statement main bathroom with room for a true freestanding bath as the centrepiece. It works beautifully with warm stone, terrazzo or travertine-look tiles and earthy accents like terracotta towels and timber. The generous 530mm basin gives you a properly sized bowl for everyday use.

Every mixer, waste and accessory is matched in matte black. The notes below explain where each piece goes. Pay particular attention to the bath spout note, because placing a freestanding bath near a wall spout takes a little planning.

What's in the package?

Basin area

• Caroma Contura II 530mm Above Counter Basin – Matte White. A soft-edged bowl that sits on your vanity top. At 530mm, it's a generous size, so allow a vanity with room either side.
• Caroma Contura II Tower Basin Mixer – Matte Black. Goes on the vanity top, beside the basin. Its tower height lets the spout reach over the raised rim of an above-counter basin. If you prefer a wall mixer tap for your basin, opt for the Caroma Contura II 180mm Wall Basin/Bath Mixer – Matte Black.
• Caroma Basin Pop-up Plug and Waste – Black. A black plug in a matte white bowl is a small detail that ties the basin to the tapware.

Bath area

• Caroma Contura II 1700mm Freestanding Bath – Matte White. A full-length, fully freestanding bath with sculpted curves. It needs clear space on all sides. Your plumber sets the waste position in the floor before tiling.
• Caroma Contura II 180mm Wall Basin/Bath Mixer – Matte Black. Goes on the wall at the tap end of the bath. A wall spout only works if the bath sits close enough to the wall for the water to land inside the rim. Check the 180mm reach against your bath position.
• Caroma Bath Pop-up Plug & Waste – Matte Black. Goes in the bath outlet. It finishes the bath in the same black as the tapware.

Shower area

• Caroma Contura II Bath/Shower Mixer – Matte Black. Goes on the shower wall. In this package it runs the shower only, because the bath has its own wall mixer.
• Caroma Contura II Rail Shower with Overhead – Black. Goes on the shower wall. The overhead gives an everyday rain-style shower, and the rail lets each person set their own height. The shower includes an integrated diverter. 
• Caroma Square Floor Waste Grate – 100mm Outlet – Matte Black. Goes in the shower floor. A black grate is a strong detail on a light floor, so choose your grout to suit.

Toilet area

• Caroma Contura II Cleanflush Wall Faced Close Coupled Suite – White. The cistern sits directly on the pan, and the pan meets the wall flush. The rimless bowl has no hidden ledge to scrub. Use the Variant menu to choose the connection that matches your plumbing, and check with your plumber if you're unsure.
• Caroma Contura II Toilet Roll Holder – Matte Black. Mount it beside the toilet, within easy reach of the seat.

Towels and accessories

• Caroma Contura II 620mm Double Towel Rail – Matte Black. Place it within reach of the bath for stepping out.
• Caroma Urbane II Heated Towel Rail Vertical – Matte Black. This rail comes from the Urbane II range, matched in the same matte black. Its simple vertical shape sits neatly beside Contura II accessories.  A hardwired rail needs a licensed electrician.
• Caroma Contura II Hand Towel Rail – Matte Black. Mount it next to the vanity.
• Caroma Contura II Large Robe Hook – Matte Black. Large enough for a heavy bath robe. Place it near the bath or on the back of the door.
