This under-sink system runs mains water through a one micron carbon block cartridge and delivers it to its own goose neck tap at the sink, so filtered water stays separate from the mixer you already have. The cartridge is a bayonet fitting you change yourself, and the head can be mounted upright or on its side depending on how your cupboard is laid out. The tap supplied is polished chrome. Everything needed to plumb it in comes in the box, including the hose, isolation tap and non-return valve.
- One micron carbon block cartridge takes out chlorine, dirt, rust, cysts and the tastes and odours that come with them, so what reaches the glass is just water.
- Filtered water comes out of its own dedicated tap, so you are not putting your everyday mixer through a filter it does not need.
- Bayonet-fit cartridge twists out and back in by hand, so the yearly change is a job you do yourself rather than book a plumber for.
- The head mounts either upright or on its side, which helps when the cupboard under the sink is already crowded.
- One cartridge covers 9,450 litres or a year, whichever comes first, so you know when the next change is due.
- Helps prevent limescale building up in appliances the filtered water feeds.
