Gloss Range

The Phoenix Gloss range covers bathroom accessories, robe hooks, toilet roll holders and hand towel holders, designed as a matching set across chrome, brushed nickel and matte black finishes. It's built for bathrooms that want coordinated hardware rather than mismatched pieces bought one at a time.

What defines the Gloss aesthetic

Gloss is a clean-lined, understated accessory range rather than a heavily detailed or ornate one. The design language is simple geometric forms, rounded edges and consistent proportions across every piece in the range, which is what makes it easy to mix pieces without anything looking out of place next to another. It's a range built to sit quietly alongside tapware and tiling rather than compete with it visually, which suits most contemporary Australian bathroom fit-outs.

Finishes available

Phoenix Gloss accessories come in chrome, brushed nickel and matte black. Chrome is the brightest and most reflective option and suits bathrooms already built around chrome tapware or fittings. Brushed nickel gives a softer, warmer-toned metallic finish with a textured surface that resists fingerprints better than chrome. Matte black is the darkest and flattest option, suited to bathrooms leaning into a more contemporary, high-contrast palette. Each finish is available across the full range of product types, so you're not limited to certain pieces only coming in certain colours.

Product types in the range

The Gloss range spans robe hooks, toilet roll holders and hand towel holders, covering the core hardware most bathrooms need. Robe hooks are available in single designs for hanging towels or robes. Toilet roll holders use a straightforward wall-mounted bar design that's easy to load. Hand towel holders (sometimes called towel rings or towel bars depending on style) give a fixed point for a hand towel near a basin. Together, these three product types cover the accessory needs of a standard bathroom or powder room without needing to source pieces from different ranges or brands.

Mixing and matching within Gloss

Because every product type in the range shares the same design language and comes in the same three finishes, you can put together a full accessory set (hook, roll holder, towel holder) in one finish and know they'll look like they belong together. This matters more than it sounds, since accessories bought separately from different ranges often have subtly different proportions, edge profiles or screw fixings that make a bathroom look assembled rather than designed. Buying within one range removes that risk entirely.

Choosing a finish for your bathroom

Match the Gloss finish to your tapware first, since tapware is usually the largest and most visible metal element in the room. If your tapware is chrome, stick with chrome Gloss accessories rather than introducing a second metal tone. If you're renovating and choosing tapware and accessories together, matte black and brushed nickel both photograph well against light-toned tiles and give the room more visual depth than chrome alone. There's no wrong finish choice within the range, since Phoenix has built consistent proportions and quality across all three.

Installation

All Gloss accessories use standard wall-mounted screw fixings suited to tiled walls, solid substrate or timber noggins. Standard heights apply. Robe hooks typically sit around 1.5 to 1.6 metres from the floor, toilet roll holders around 60 to 70cm, and hand towel holders near the basin at a reachable height. Mark and drill fixing points before grouting if you're tiling as part of a fresh install.

Planning a full bathroom accessory fit-out

If you're renovating rather than replacing a single piece, plan out where each Gloss accessory will sit before ordering, since spacing and reach matter more than they seem to on paper. A robe hook mounted too close to a towel holder can cause towels to overlap and stay damp longer, and a toilet roll holder positioned too far from the toilet becomes an annoyance rather than a convenience. Sketching the bathroom layout with rough measurements before you buy avoids having to re-drill fixing points later.
