TradCo Rim Lock and Milled Edge Knob Passage Set Matte Black/Antique Copper
SKU: 1032-2013SET
The TradCo Rim Lock and Milled Edge Knob Passage Set features a surface-mounted lock that sits on the face of the door rather than inside it, a method of door hardware that dates back to 18th-century English homes. With a stepped profile and symmetrical proportions that are authentically Georgian in style, it is designed for internal doors in Colonial, Victorian, and Georgian homes built between 1788 and 1850. Each set is supplied complete with a matching milled edge knob and all fixings needed for installation.
- A surface-mounted lock that is fixed to the face of the door rather than set into it, following the original construction method used in English and early Australian homes from the 18th century onward.
- Made from sheet brass, which is consistent with the materials used in authentic Georgian and Victorian era door hardware, supporting a genuinely period result.
- The stepped profile and symmetrical proportions are designed to match the style of Colonial, Victorian, and Georgian homes built between 1788 and 1850, making it one of the most historically appropriate lock options for these eras.
- Each set is supplied complete with a matching milled edge knob, all screws, and all fixings needed for a full installation with no additional parts required.
- Please note that this lock is not suitable for double doors or French doors and should only be fitted to single leaf doors.
- Available in a full suite of matching door hardware including escutcheons and mortice knobs, with spare keys available to purchase separately.
- 10 year mechanical warranty
