Nero Tapware Serenity Range

Serenity is built around a slim, rounded silhouette with a soft-edged handle, a quieter, more understated look than the sharper geometric lines of Nero's Mecca range or the block-form handles on York. It reads as a calm, contemporary shape rather than a strongly retro or industrial one, which is why it tends to suit renovations going for a soft minimalist finish rather than a statement look. If you want to compare the exact style differences against Mecca or York, it's worth viewing all three side by side before deciding.

Like most Nero ranges, Serenity is typically offered across the brand's standard finish set, chrome, matte black, and one or more brushed metal tones such as brushed nickel or brushed gold, depending on what's currently in the collection. Chrome remains the easiest to match to existing fixtures, while matte black and brushed finishes suit a warmer or more contemporary palette. Check the individual product listing for the exact finish range currently stocked, as availability can shift between tapware types within the one range.

Serenity spans multiple tapware types within the one style family, so you can typically outfit a basin, bath and shower from the same range for a consistent look throughout the bathroom. This matters more than people expect: mixing handle shapes between the basin and shower in the same room is one of the more noticeable inconsistencies in an otherwise well-finished bathroom. If you're starting a full bathroom fit-out, it's worth checking the Nero Tapware Showers collection for the matching shower components in this style family.

Serenity is designed primarily as a bathroom range, covering basin mixers, bath mixers and shower mixers. Nero's kitchen mixers are generally sold under separate kitchen-specific collections rather than as part of a bathroom range like Serenity, since kitchen mixers need a taller spout clearance and different flow characteristics for filling pots and rinsing dishes. If you're fitting out a kitchen, check Nero's dedicated kitchen mixer listings rather than assuming a bathroom range will suit.

The main thing to match is finish and general design language rather than buying every fitting from the one range. If your vanity, shower screen or towel rail already lean toward a soft, minimalist look, Serenity's rounded handle will sit comfortably alongside them. If your existing fittings are sharper and more geometric, a range like Mecca may blend in more naturally. When in doubt, matching the finish (for example, matte black across all fittings) matters more for a cohesive result than matching the exact handle shape.

Confirm the tapware type (basin, bath or shower), the finish, and that the product carries a valid WaterMark licence and WELS rating, both mandatory for tapware sold in Australia. It's also worth checking the tap hole configuration your existing basin or bath requires, since not every mixer style suits every basin. If you're unsure, a licensed plumber can confirm compatibility before you order.
