Overhead rain showers are perfect for a full-body soak, but often need to be combined with a hand shower (and mixer diverter) for those days when you just don’t want to get your hair wet. Believe it or not, our high quality branded rain shower heads have been carefully designed so you can save water while still getting a generous water flow. What is rain shower head?

A rain shower head is a shower head that is mounted on the ceiling and sprays down water vertically. Its light pressure mimics the feeling of rain.

How far should rain shower head be from wall?

While there is no set rule for the distance a shower head should be away from the wall, you need to consider a comfortable standing position and the diameter of your shower head to determine the most appropriate clearance. Most wall mounted shower arms are between 250mm and 400mm long, with a drop designed to go straight down to suit the rain style.

Do rain shower heads use more water?

You should refer to the WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme) rating to check the flow rate of the shower head. Flow rates for showers are expressed on the water rating label in litres per minute (L/min). The most water efficient showerheads have a 4 star WELS rating demonstrating a flow rate of 6 litres per minute or less. Most rain shower heads are rated as 3 star WELS which is 9L/min or less.
