As a proud carbon neutral company, our efforts of reducing the impact we have on the planet are at the forefront of our everyday business. We are constantly implementing new ways to drive responsible decision-making and continuous improvements throughout our business and workplace culture. Ensuring the longevity of the planet for generations to come.
We are proud to be partnering with Carbon Neutral to reduce our climate impact as a business to net-zero. It is by supporting the Biodiverse Reforestation Carbon Offsets project that we are now offsetting our delivery and day-to-day business carbon emissions. While also helping Carbon Neutral to restore the natural environment in Western Australia's Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor.
By planting indigenous species to this region, the Biodiverse Reforestation Carbon Offsets project encourages the growth of endangered plants and ultimately helps restore this once vibrant woodland.
When we discovered the work being done in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, we wanted to do more. That's why we joined Carbon Neutral's Plant-a-Tree Conservation Program.
This program allows our business to purchase trees for planting in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. Helping Carbon Neutral to achieve their goal of restoring 100,000 hectares of degraded land while also mitigating the climate crisis.
We are so thrilled to be a part of this initiative which has seen 440,000 native species of trees and shrubs planted across 300 hectares and we look forward to seeing this ecosystem thrive once more.
Alongside our partnership with Carbon Neutral, here at The Blue Space, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our green efforts and to create a more sustainable environment moving forward into the future.
We are proud to offer the transformation of old packaging waste into new packaging filler. Boxes and cardboard that would otherwise be tossed to the side, are now given a new purpose, acting as another layer of protection around your orders. This simple action allows for the reduction of single use plastic and bubble wrap, while still keeping your orders safe during the delivery process.
