This bidet seat is supplied with dual check valves and has an integrated air gap to meet AS2845.2 compliance for backflow prevention.

Is the Bidet Seat watermark approved and compliant?
The bidet seat is Watermark approved and compliant.

Can the bidet seat be installed on a Back Entry or In-wall toilet?
Yes, however an additional inlet is required to supply water to the seat.

Can the bidet seat be installed on a Bottom Inlet toilet?
Yes, however an inlet splitter is required to enable water supply to both cistern and seat. This splitting device is not supplied and can be purchased from plumbing merchants

What battery type is needed for the remote control?
Requires 2 x Type 3V CR2032 (note: batteries not included)

Is the bidet water filters easy to replace, i.e. can customers do it themselves?
The filters are easy to replace. Just turn off the water supply, unscrew the hose from the filter, unscrew the filter and replace. Replacement filters are available for purchase.

Do I need to plumb in a separate hot water feed to enable the warm water spray functionality?
No only 1 cold water plumbing feed is required. The bidet seat is able to heat as desired via the remote control interface.

With the additional technology at the back of the seat, is the seat opening large enough?
Yes. The electronics and bidet mechanisms of the seat are positioned to the back of the pan to enable an aperture (opening) of 212mm wide, 273mm deep. Comparing this to the standard Liano Toilet Seat which is 203mm wide and 275mm deep.

How does the night light work?
There is an integrated sensor which detects when ambient room light is dark enough to warrant the light to be activated. This function can be managed via the remote.

Is there a descaling requirement for the bidet seat water tank (due to heating)?
There is no specific descaling feature in the product as water does not come to a boil (so limescale build up will be minimal). To protect against limescale/calcium build up, regular cleaning and filter replacement is recommended.
