Due to the nature of a Geberit cistern having offset valves, the flush button will sit slightly offset 8mm to the right of the centreline of the toilet.
The flush plate needs at least 20 mm clearance from the cistern face to the wall. Ideally, install it on a tiled wall. If the wall isn’t tiled, use a 10 mm water-resistant backing bracket to create the required spacing.
